If you’re having an issue disconnecting the wand from the sprayer’s coupler, there might be a couple things going on. Because of the tight seal against the o-ring, the plug is always pressing against the coupler making sliding the quick release difficult at times. You need to push the plug side in towards the coupler as you try to slide the quick release. This should free up the pressure on the QD and allow you to release it. If you’re trying to pull the wand OUT away from the connection while disconnecting, you may never get it to release as the mechanism is designed to hold tight. This should become looser over time. Machine oil or some vegetable oil on the ball bearings after you disconnect the coupler may help as well.
