Water leaking out of the plastic flange on the Kranzle Hose (or any M22 hose) is actually caused by the connection of the Male M22 Fitting connected to the hose. If that connecting is not able to seat fully then the o-ring is not snug and water leaks out and goes down that plastic flange. What you need to do is remove the Male M22 fitting from the hose by simply twisting it off. You may have to unscrew the hose shield itself and then pull on the fitting to disconnect it from the hose. Once you have it removed, clean all the teflon tape off of that side of the brass fitting and reinstall back onto the hose. Tighten the plastic hose shroud back till it completely stops. Inspect the o-ring on the end of the hose and replace if needed: Kranzle Green O-Ring
