Why We May Ask for ID and Credit Card Verification

Protecting our customers is a top priority. That includes keeping your personal and payment information secure.


Why did I receive a request for ID verification?

In some cases, our fraud detection system may flag an order as suspicious. This can happen for several reasons, including:

  • The billing and shipping addresses don’t match
  • The payment was attempted multiple times
  • The order value is unusually high
  • The card used has international ties or past chargeback activity

To protect both you and us, we may pause your order and ask for verification before shipping.


What we ask for:

If your order is flagged, we’ll send you an email requesting the following:

  • A color photo of your government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport)

    A photo of the credit card used for the purchase

    • You can cover the first 12 digits for safety
    • Please make sure the name, last 4 digits, and expiration date are visible

How we handle your information:

  • Your documents are only used for verification.
  • Once verified, they are deleted right away.
  • If we don’t hear back within 24 hours, we will automatically refund your payment.

Why do we do this?

We understand this may be inconvenient, but it helps prevent stolen credit card use and protects our customers from fraud. This step is not personal—it's a security measure that keeps our store safe and reliable for everyone.
