Scissor Lifts vs Post Lifts

In Matt's garage, he likes to use a scissor lift. Here's a short comparison and reasons why we like scissor lifts more:

1. The weight distribution on the ground is much better and doesn't require as strong of concrete.

2. Scissor lifts still allow access to almost everything you need to do in the drivetrain, suspension, etc. We've been installing headers, exhausts, suspension parts, and other high-level stuff, and we've only encountered an issue with the lift being in our way once. And even then, we were able to work around it.

3. Scissor lifts allow more room around the vehicle.

4. Post lifts get in the way of doors, make working around them more difficult, take up more space.
