Can I use a Kranzle with a generator? What wattage do I need?

To properly power your Kranzle 1122TST, 1622TS or 1322 electric pressure washer we recommend at least a 4,800 watt generator.  If you have a 20 amp machine such as the K2020 or 2017, we recommend at least 5,400 watts. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

*Wattage = Volts X Amps x 3

For example: 110vx15 amps x 3 = 4950 Watts.

*Minimum 4800 watts. Lower watts will cause problems with your machine and is not covered under warranty.

*Do NOT use "inverter" generators. They are NOT designed for tools that produce power surges.

Many guys test the limits and run their Kranzles on 3000-3500W generators, but they eventually run into weird little issues that always trace back to power.
