Troubleshooting: Comet Static 1700 inlet connection doesn't match up, leaks, or seems backwards.

If your Comet Static 1700 inlet connection doesn't match up, leaks, or seems backward, you are missing the inlet adapter. You need to put a brass Female BSP to Female GHT part in your OE Comet accessories bag on the pump first. Without this adapter, the pump has a male 3/4" BSPP thread incompatible with our US garden hoses, which should be 3/4" GHT.

Here's the flow pattern of this setup:

Hose Bib --> Female GHT Coupler --> Male GHT Plug --> Female end of hose --> Male end of hose --> Female GHT Coupler --> Male GHT Plug --> Female to Female Adapter --> Pump Inlet
